ABOUT PIFFLE PICS

The word "piffle" comes from my grandmother on my mom's side. It's a word that she'd use every time she was losing at the game Yahtzee. True story. That's where the name of my photography company comes from... the exclamation of an elderly lady losing at a dice game to her young grandson.

I've always found the word silly and it's fun to say out loud. It also sounds good with "pics" and reminds me of my childhood.

Speaking of childhood, my subject matter is toys - some from when I was a kid, but most of them are "borrowed" from my four children, who keep me with a never ending supply. 

My favorite dessert is tiramisu.
